Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond Reroll Guide: Summons, 5★ Heroes and Starter Accounts

Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond is an idle pixel-art RPG by HaoPlay on Android and iOS, officially launched in March 2024. Battles play out on their own, so your heroes do most of the work: the real game is collecting and upgrading 5★ heroes. This guide explains summons, how rerolling works and what a Pixel Heroes starter account gives you.

Summons and hero rarity

• Heroes are rated from 1★ to 5★, and each summon gives one hero at random. Duplicates are common.
• Summons are made in the Sanctum, under Hero Summon, with Covenants of Light, a ticket-like item earned from daily tasks.
• Star Diamonds are the premium currency, also used for summons.
• Weak or duplicate heroes can be traded at the hero altar for experience potions and soul crystals, so nothing is wasted.

The game also gives 10 hero summons a day for logging in, for a whole year: the "3,650 summons" of its store page. That is generous, but it takes months to add up.

How to reroll

1. Sign in with an email account rather than as a guest: you can then switch to a fresh account from the settings.
2. Play the first chapter and claim the free summons.
3. Summon in the Sanctum and look at your 5★ heroes.
4. Not happy? Switch to a new account and repeat.

Each attempt only gives a handful of summons, and a single 5★ hero does not carry a team for long. That is why a starter account with a full 5★ roster saves far more time than a reroll.
