What to Do in the First 10 Minutes After Receiving Your Game Account

Your login details have arrived. The next 10 minutes decide two things: whether you can prove the account matches what you paid for, and whether it is truly yours. Here is the checklist we recommend, in order, for any game.

Minutes 1 to 2: find your details

• Open the order email. If you do not see it, check your spam folder.
• Note the server and the platform of your order. Some games have several versions (Global, Japan, Asia…): install the one written in your order.
• Keep the email: it is your proof of purchase if you ever need support.

Minutes 3 to 5: log in and check the contents

1. Log in with the exact details, typed by hand, with no space before or after. Use the method of your order: email, transfer code, or another sign-in.
2. Check the server shown in the game against your order.
3. Check the contents against the product page: characters, currency, tickets and items of the option you chose.
4. Do not spend anything yet. No summons, no purchases, no currency exchange. Once something is spent, nobody can check any more that the account matched its description.

Minutes 5 to 6: take screenshots

Take a screenshot of the profile screen (with the player ID and the server), of the currency, and of the characters or items listed on your option. If something is wrong, these screenshots let us solve it quickly.

Minutes 6 to 10: make the account yours

1. Change the email password, or move the account to your own email where the game allows it.
2. Replace the recovery email and phone of the email with yours.
3. Link a sign-in you own (Google, Apple or Steam) where the game offers it, and set your own transfer code on games that use one.
4. Change the game password at the moment your game's guide recommends: on some games, a very early change can trigger a security check.
5. Use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification wherever it exists.

Something is wrong?

Stop there, do not spend anything, and write to us through our contact page with your order number, your screenshots and the exact message shown by the game. If the account does not match its description, or the login details do not work, email us within 48 hours of delivery: we send a replacement or refund your order. Details in our FAQ.

Can I play before I secure the account?

You can, but secure it on the same day. Checking and securing come first; summons can wait 10 minutes.
